System Administrator - AWS Platform (6-10 yrs)

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator, with a focus on AWS.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or similar certification preferred.

- Proficiency in AWS services such as IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Formation, SAM, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Secrets Manager, SSM, EKS, and SNS.

- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts.

- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS environments.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS services and resources.

- Perform regular system and application backups, ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity.

- Implement and manage security best practices, including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.

- Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.

- Provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and participate in on-call rotations.

- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to support application deployment and integration.

- Provide guidance and support to other team members on AWS best practices and solutions.

- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for internal stakeholders.

- Perform the following activities in GitHub :

a. Process of Workflows

b. Preparing YAML files for deployments

c. Troubleshooting failed jobs

d. Configuring and accessing Environment Variables and Actions
