The client is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Salesforce Director - Techno-Functional understanding to lead our Salesforce consulting practice. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in Salesforce architecture and development, as well as strong functional knowledge to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients. As a director, one will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing client relationships, and guiding a team of Salesforce professionals to implement and optimize Salesforce solutions across various industries.
This is a client-facing leadership role with a focus on advising clients on Salesforce best practices, transforming business processes, and delivering scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid consulting background, a deep understanding of Salesforce's capabilities, and experience in managing large, complex implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Consulting:
- Lead client engagements, providing strategic guidance on Salesforce-related projects.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into Salesforce solutions.
- Develop and present high-level solution designs and roadmaps for Salesforce implementations and optimizations.
- Advise clients on industry best practices, Salesforce features, and emerging technologies to drive digital transformation.
Project Delivery and Management:
- Oversee end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget, timeline, and quality parameters.
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of Salesforce developers, business analysts, and solution architects.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective resource allocation and project timelines.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions through regular project reviews and quality checks.
Salesforce Architecture and Solution Design:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions based on client business requirements.
- Ensure the alignment of Salesforce applications with the client's overall technology and business architecture.
- Leverage expertise in - Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein Analytics- , and other Salesforce products to build integrated solutions.
- Guide the development and integration of custom applications, leveraging Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business executives, IT teams, and end users.
- Manage expectations and ensure transparent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Deliver presentations and workshops to educate clients on Salesforce functionality and capabilities.
- Support client retention and growth by identifying additional Salesforce opportunities and cross-selling services.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide mentorship and leadership to Salesforce consultants, developers, and technical teams.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Encourage continuous learning and development, ensuring the team stays updated on the latest Salesforce trends and certifications.
- Manage resource planning and staffing, ensuring the right skill sets are available for project needs.
Business Development and Thought Leadership:
- Contribute to sales efforts by participating in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, scoping, and client presentations.
- Represent the organization in industry forums, webinars, and conferences to position the company as a thought leader in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Help define and refine the Salesforce practice's offerings, creating reusable assets and frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Extensive experience in Salesforce implementation and integration, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Industries Cloud.
- Strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, including - Apex, Lightning, Visualforce- , and integration with external systems.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex Salesforce projects with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in building and nurturing client relationships, with a focus on consulting and advisory services.
- Excellent - communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills- .
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align Salesforce solutions with client business goals.
- Experience in working with - Agile- and - Waterfall- project management methodologies.
