Design Manager - UI/UX (5-7 yrs)

About the client :

AI-based platform which helps companies in activating , engaging, monetizing, and retaining their customers. We are looking for a Designer Manager to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our customers.

This role will be responsible for the entire UX/UI design process, from gathering user requirements through designing graphical elements and building navigational components, in order to create functional and appealing features that address our customers' needs. A successful candidate will have experience with design software and wireframe tools, demonstrated through a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web and mobile applications.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities :

- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps

- Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets

- Build page navigation buttons and search fields

- Develop high-level storyboards, mockups, and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function

- Create original graphic designs

- Iterate on multiple design solutions

- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams

- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems

- Collect and analyze user feedback and adjust layout and features based on it

- Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features

- Develop and maintain detailed user interface specifications

Education :

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, design, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, interaction designer, information architect, or in a similar role

- Experience using wireframe tools

- Experience using design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Hype, Axure, and/or Keynote

- Experience designing products for mobile and desktop

- Experience with user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and/or heuristic analysis

- Knowledge of mobile-first and responsive design

- Knowledge of best practices for web-based information architecture and design

- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques

- Knowledge of user-centered design

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Strong time management skills
