Position Overview - The HR Head will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the company's HR initiatives and ensuring the implementation of best practices across all corporate functions. This role is responsible for leading the HR team, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws and regulations. He/She will work closely with senior leadership to foster a positive work environment that aligns with the company's mission, values, and strategic goals. The Head HR will support the functional leaders including CFO, CIO, CHRO, Company Counsel, Chief Digital Officer, and CEO.
Location - Dubai
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in HR. MBA desirable.
Experience
15 to 20 years' experience in HR, with ideally the current or immediate past stint in Corporate HR. At least 3 to 5 years of experience at an HR leadership level.
Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating of comprehensive learning and development programs that align with corporate goals, enhance employee skills, and promote continuous improvement across all levels of the organization is desirable. Ensuring the integration of cutting-edge training technologies and methodologies to foster a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth. Work experience in the GCC region and understanding of local labour and laws will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Delivering excellent support to senior leaders through innovation, efficiency, process excellence, and accountability.
- Develop and implement organizational interventions by identifying and researching HR issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- Advise and counsel leaders on how to identify and attract key talent, develop succession plans, utilize recognition and rewards to incentivize behaviour, and help leaders drive performance improvement and career growth within their teams.
- Act as a strategic advisor, confidante, and coach when needed.
- Work with and develop HR teams providing HR support locally to various managers and stakeholders.

- Good time management. Ability to meet strict deadlines, and balance competing demands of working on several projects.
- Ability to balance work with minimal supervision, and the requirements of working in a multi-functional team environment.
- Has the gravitas to represent the role at the Board level as needed, with good runway for future growth.
