Plant Head Finance - Leading Conglomerate (Salem)

Objective of the role:

- Overall responsibility of Plant Level Accounting and related internal controls over financial reporting

- Engages with various department HODs and Plant Head in ensuring that Plant delivers on business performance and budgetary control.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring timely completion of MIS, Accounts, Cost Audit, ADD data, Tax and Statutory Audit; submission of schedules and notes on accounts. Ensuring Quarterly / Annual Budget preparation within set deadlines.

- Dealing with Customs and GST authorities

- Ensuring Inventory controls and accurate valuation of inventory

- Coordinate for Internal Audit and PV Audit and ensure smooth conduct of audits and also ensuring timely and appropriate responses for internal audit.

- Ensure overall finance related statutory compliance.

Requisites :

- CMA or CA with around15 years post qualification experience as plant accountant in the manufacturing industry

- Good in costing and sound domain knowledge on marginal / standard costing and inventory valuation as per applicable standards.

- Experience in preparing annual and quarterly budgets.

- Hands on experience and knowledge GST, Customs and Finance Related Compliance requirements

- Exposure to SAP and its application
