Key Responsibilities :
- Digital Transformation : Lead digital transformation initiatives, incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as Al, machine learning, blockchain, and cloud computing to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- System Development & Maintenance : Oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of core insurance systems, including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and customer portals.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance : Ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of all IT systems with industry regulations
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third-party technology partners to deliver cost-effective and scalable solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and manage service delivery.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Management : Ensure the effective operation of cloud infrastructure and enterprise systems to provide seamless operations and scalability.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, network architecture, and data centers.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor IT teams, including developers, engineers, system architects, and security professionals, fostering innovation and high-performance culture.
- IT Governance : Establish IT governance processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Implement efficient risk management and disaster recovery plans.
- Budgeting & Cost Optimization : Manage the IT budget effectively, ensuring investments are made in technologies that drive business value and operational efficiency.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree with 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role
- Proven experience with digital transformation, cloud technologies, data analytics, and cybersecurity in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, operations, and industry-specific technologies.
- Experience with project management methodologies and IT governance frameworks.
- Expertise in emerging technologies (Al, machine learning, blockchain, cloud computing).
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure management, network architecture, and system integration
