Position Overview :
The Director of Digital Transformation will lead and orchestrate the company's digital transformation initiatives across all functions, driving innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage through the strategic implementation of digital technologies and processes.
This role will work collaboratively with all departments to develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with top management, collaborate across departments, and contribute to digital transformation that shape the company's future.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy and Leadership :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive digital initiatives horizontally across departments and vertically within each function.
- Foster a culture of innovation and digital-first thinking throughout the organization. Cross-Functional Digital Initiatives
- Finance: Oversee the adoption and optimization of ERP systems to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Sales: Implement and enhance CRM systems and related tools for inbound and outbound business development and sales activities.
- Branding & Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM strategies and digital content creation.
- Human Resources: Lead the implementation of HRMS tools to modernize HR processes and enhance employee experience.
- Learning & Development: Develop digital content design strategies for training and talent management, including skilling and productivity enhancement programs.
- Supply Chain: Spearhead end-to-end digitization of supply chain processes, enhancing visibility, efficiency, and responsiveness.
- Factory Operations: Implement digital solutions for real-time monitoring of plant utilization, uptime/downtime, productivity, and waste management in alignment with Lean Management principles.
- IT: Oversee DevOps practices, networking improvements, cloud infrastructure management, IT asset management, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) initiatives
Data Strategy and Analytics :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy, including data warehousing, modelling, collection, management, reporting, and analysis.
- Drive the use of advanced analytics and AI/ML technologies to generate actionable insights across all business functions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. Technology Vendor Management
- Lead the discovery, evaluation, and selection of third-party ISVs, cloud service providers, and IT vendors.
- Manage relationships with technology partners to ensure alignment with the company's digital transformation goals.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure optimal value from technology investments.
Change Management and Cultural Transformation :
- Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new digital technologies and processes.
- Lead initiatives to transform the company culture towards a digital-first paradigm.
- Collaborate with HR and L&D to develop training programs that enhance digital literacy across the organization.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization :
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of digital transformation initiatives.
- Continuously monitor and optimize digital processes and systems to ensure maximum ROI and alignment with business objectives.
Innovation and Emerging Technologies :
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends that could impact the company's digital transformation journey.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies for pilot projects and potential implementation.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale digital transformation projects across multiple business functions.
- Strong understanding of various business functions (Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR, Supply Chain, Operations) and their specific digital needs.
- Expertise in data analytics, AI/ML, cloud computing, and other emerging technologies.
- Experience with change management and organizational development in the context of digital transformation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
