Assistant/Vice President (10-15 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Team Leadership : Lead and inspire a team of Managers and developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to support individual and team growth.

- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute a comprehensive software development strategy, aligning it with the organization's business objectives and long-term vision. Leverage your industry expertise to identify opportunities for technology adoption and innovation.

- Project Delivery and Architecture : Oversee the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and adhere to best practices. Participate in architectural decision-making to design scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.

- Technical Expertise : Demonstrate a strong technical background with proficiency in application development using a variety of technologies, including Python, React, and C#. NET, ETL, BI, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.

- Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with executive leadership, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business needs, provide technical insights, and align software development efforts with organizational goals.

- Resource Management : Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and efficiency across projects. Identify skill gaps and training needs, ensuring the team is equipped to tackle complex challenges.

- Agile Practices and Project Management : Promote agile methodologies and project management principles to improve development processes, enhance collaboration, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Budget Management : Oversee the software development budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost efficiency.

- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and software development, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

- Proven track record of successfully managing software development teams, architecting solutions, and delivering projects in the investment management

industry or a similar financial domain.
