Senior Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualified CA/CPA/MBA or in the process of obtaining such Qualification
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in an Australian tax compliance and consulting (written advice) role, either at Assistant Manager or Senior level
• Should have a prior experience at a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firms, or large corporate as an offshore resource
• Excellent up to date technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and best practices
• Consulting and Compliance processes and procedures
• Exposure to tax effect accounting
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position and support business objectives.
• Conduct tax planning and analysis for various business initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructures.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the business.
• Oversee tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities.
• Identify and manage tax risks and opportunities.
• Implement internal controls and processes to mitigate tax risks and ensure on time and accurate preparation and submission of Tax returns.
• Advise on Transfer pricing strategies
• Curious about business, how businesses work and the structures they use
