HR Talent Acquisition Executive/Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborating with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs.
• Creating detailed job descriptions and specifications based on the job requirements.
• Using a mix of strategies to source candidates (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events, headhunting, employee referrals).
• Coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, training schedules, and introductions.

Preferred candidate profile

• End-to-End Recruitment Experience: The candidate should have solid experience in handling the full recruitment process, from creating job descriptions and sourcing candidates to interviewing and negotiating offers.
• Sourcing Skills: Proficiency in using a variety of candidate sourcing channels such as job boards, LinkedIn, social media, job fairs, recruitment agencies, and direct headhunting.
• Understanding of IT Jobs: A good grasp of various IT roles and the technical skills required for them (e.g., software developers, DevOps engineers, system administrators, data scientists, cybersecurity professionals, etc.).
• Ability to Screen Technical Candidates: While not necessarily a deep technical expert, the candidate should be able to conduct a meaningful first round of screening with an understanding of technical terminology and requirements, and engage with hiring managers on technical assessments.
• Experience in IT Recruitment: Prior experience in IT recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within the tech or startup sector. Experience recruiting for technical positions (software engineers, developers, system admins, etc.) is a plus.
