Position Overview:
The Zonal Manager for Commercial Products will be responsible for driving the business through global broking partners, developing strategic business initiatives, and leading a team of business development managers. The role requires effective collaboration with multiple internal departments to ensure the smooth functioning of business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
- Plan, implement, and execute strategies to drive growth in the Indian commercial insurance market through partnerships with global broking firms.
Business Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Managers to achieve the assigned business goals, ensuring strong performance and business growth.
Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:
- Work closely with Underwriting, Operations, and Claims teams to ensure seamless business continuity, enhancing the overall client experience.
Market Intelligence & Brand Positioning:
- Develop and maintain market intelligence to capitalize on opportunities, establish and grow the company brand in the commercial insurance space.
Business Development:
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities by leveraging relationships with global brokers and maintaining a pipeline of potential clients.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the regional business development team, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key global broking partners to maximize business opportunities.
