Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - HR Finance & Compensation for one of our clients- a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) based in Mumbai.
- As a Chartered Accountant in the HR - Payroll Department, this role is integral in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and cost efficiency within our payroll and compensation structures.
- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing payroll processing, verifying financial numbers, managing manpower expenses, ensuring accuracy in incentive payouts, and providing in-depth HR compensation analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Management & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and timely disbursement of salaries.
- Verify payroll calculations, tax deductions (TDS, PF, ESIC, etc.), and statutory compliances.
- Liaise with Finance and HR teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.
2. Expense Control & Financial Oversight:
- Monitor and control manpower-related expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets.
- Track payroll costs and analyze variances to provide cost-saving recommendations.
- Conduct regular audits to prevent payroll fraud or errors.
3. Incentive Payouts & Verification:
- Validate performance-based incentives, bonus calculations, and other variable pay components.
- Ensure adherence to incentive payout policies and approval processes.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective measures.
4. HR Compensation Analytics:
- Conduct detailed compensation benchmarking and trend analysis.
- Analyze payroll data to support strategic HR decisions.
- Provide reports on salary structures, wage trends, and manpower cost efficiency.
5. Process Improvement & Automation:
- Work on automation of payroll processes to enhance efficiency.
- Implement internal controls for payroll and financial reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with HRIS and payroll system teams for seamless data integration.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation, and statutory compliances.
- Expertise in financial controls, audits, and expense management.
- Proficiency in HR compensation analytics and incentive payout structures.
