We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Specialist for a well-established international organization in the renewable energy sector. This role is critical to managing sales activities, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and driving growth in overseas markets such as Southeast Asia (SE Asia) and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region within the power industry segment. The role will encompass direct sales/customer engagement, as well as the development of company strategies, communications, and marketing efforts, including preparing proposals, presentations, brochures, and attending industry trade shows.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Activities:
- Generate new leads and proactively pursue both company-generated and referral-based opportunities.
Pre-Sales Technical Assistance & Education:
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and educate potential customers on products.
Supplier Registration:
- Complete formalities for registering Holtec as a supplier with target EPC/End User companies.
Business Development:
- Liaise with current and potential clients to develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships.
Technical Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, explaining products or services to prospective customers, creating awareness, and generating inquiries.
Tender/Bid Management:
- Manage the entire tendering process, from identifying relevant Invitations to Bid (ITBs) to finalizing negotiated contracts (NCs).
Proposal Development:
- Review customer RFQ packages and prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals.
Trade Show Presentations:
- Represent the company by delivering presentations at industry seminars and trade shows.
Contract Negotiation:
- Review and negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions.
Sales Targets:
- Achieve assigned sales targets within the specified geography.
Market Insights & Strategy Development:
- Understand the market potential for the company's products and implement strategies to increase visibility and sales.
Competitive Analysis:
- Analyze competition in the market, including moves and pricing strategies, in the assigned geography.
Cost and Sales Analysis:
- Analyze costs and sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
Key Skills:
- Strong technical background in power industry products.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
- Sound decision-making ability.
- Resilient and tenacious, with a focus on achieving goals.
- Good understanding of commercial terms and INCOTERMS.
- Proficient presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Sound business judgment with a focus on strategic growth.
Knowledge & Experience:
- 10-14 years of experience in marketing/sales in products related to the power industry, with a preference for those with expertise in large capital equipment, particularly heat transfer equipment such as Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Feed Water Heaters, Air Cooled and Water-Cooled Condensers, Moisture Separator Re-heaters, etc.
- Proven experience in driving sales strategies and managing customer relationships in international markets.
Educational Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Postgraduate degree (preferable).
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
