We have a job opportunity with India a medical device company.
Role: Sales Head
Product Portfolio: Critical Care
HQ Location: Preferred Bangalore
Coverage Area: Pan India
People management role
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the portfolio across India.
- This involves analyzing market trends, identifying sales opportunities, establishing sales targets, and driving sales force effectiveness initiatives.
Team Management:
- Build and oversee a team of sales representatives and application specialists.
- This involves setting performance targets, providing guidance and training, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
Channel Management:
- Guide the setup of the Company's channel network.
- Manage key distributor relationships, and work with management to build relevant guidelines and processes.
Process Management:
- Drive Sales team compliance of existing processes, and set up relevant commercial processes where needed.
Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:
- You will be responsible for forecasting sales volumes, revenue, and expenses for medical devices.
- This includes developing annual sales budgets, monitoring performance against targets, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications Preferred:
- A minimum of 10+ years of sales experience from the healthcare industry with a proven track record of sales delivery
- Successful track record of people management
- Experience in a startup or building a business from the group up preferred
- Experience in medical device sales, with Critical Care experience preferred
