Organizational Overview:
Our Analytics organization comprises of data analysts who focus on enabling strategies to enhance customer and partner experience and optimize business performance through data management and development of full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics solutions using cutting edge technologies thereby enabling business growth
Role Summary/Purpose :
AVP, Consumer Engagement and Brand Analytics role (Individual Contributor) is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). The role will deliver on strategic marketing analytics for marketing strategies, programs and campaigns in partnership with the Consumer Engagement and Brand business teams within Growth. The candidate will partner closely with VP, Consumer Engagement and Brand Analytics in US to plan, measure and optimization marketing programs and campaigns related to Synchrony s Consumer Engagement and Brand marketing campaigns across channels. He/she will be partnering with various functional teams, analytics CoEs, performance marketing and demand generation teams to support Consumer Engagement and Brand marketing. This is a hands-on role that requires daily use of analytical, data-mining, and segmentation tools as well as strong knowledge of test design, campaign performance optimization, behavioral segmentation, and market insights using a test & learn approach
Key Responsibilities:
Provide data driven insights to address business needs, prioritize technology and monetary investments in Consumer Engagement programs, such as ACE, and forecast potential range of benefits
Tie quantitative and qualitative learnings to enhance brand positioning and create co-evolving relationships between personas and more deterministic audience segments for targeting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate external data sources and vendor marketing models to enhance sales, revenue, and experience KPIs at the consumer level
Co-Lead Delivery of Competitive insights and industry benchmarks for merchant partners leveraging Synchrony s robust consumer and transactional data
Establish a strong relation with Key Stakeholders from Senior Leadership to client , become a trusted advisor to solution for complex problems
Lead strategic initiatives and analytic solutions from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and documentation in compliance with audit procedures, while driving commitment to last-mile project execution
Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and projects as needed
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience.
Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS Tools with ability to leverage advanced algorithms like media mix / attribution models and be efficient in handling complex/large data.
Minimum 3+ years experience in managing analytics within Financial Services , Credit Cards Payment Industry.
Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and story boarding skills
Ability to solve complex technical and business problems with minimal supervision
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
Superior thought leadership and framework based solutioning abilities
Experience in storytelling, presenting to senior leaders with strong communication skills
Innovative mindset that looks to improve current capabilities and discover new ones
Understanding of marketing concepts including campaign measurement, targeting, and segmentation
People management experience
Experience with digital measurement tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
Eligibility Criteria :
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience.
Work Timings:
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs. The position is remote, where you have the option to work from home.
