Role Overview:
- The Vice President Partnership Development will spearhead strategy and execution efforts related to establishing partnerships that align with the organization's mission and objectives.
- This role involves identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including corporations, foundations, government bodies, and other non-profit organizations.
- The Vice President will evaluate potential partners, negotiate agreements, and oversee the implementation and management of these partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with SwitchON Foundation's mission and strategic goals.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact partnerships, including corporate sponsors, philanthropic foundations, and government agencies.
- Establish and achieve annual partnership development goals in line with organizational priorities.
Partnership Management:
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term alignment.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships to ensure goals and deliverables are met.
Proposal Development & Fundraising:
- Oversee the creation of compelling partnership proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to integrate partnership opportunities into broader fundraising strategies.
- Innovate new approaches for leveraging partnerships to drive resource mobilization.
Networking & Representation:
- Represent the foundation at key events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
- Serve as a spokesperson and advocate for SwitchON Foundation's partnership initiatives and broader mission.
Team Leadership & Development:.
- Lead and mentor the partnership development team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Provide professional development opportunities and ensure team alignment with organizational objectives.
- Effectively delegate tasks and provide guidance to ensure optimal team performance.
Program Oversight, Reporting & Analytics:.
- Track and report on partnership activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
- Leverage data insights to continuously refine strategies and enhance partnership effectiveness.
Qualifications.
Education:.
- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience:.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising, or business development, with at least 12 years in a leadership capacity.
Skills & Competencies:.
- Proven track record in securing and managing high-value partnerships and fundraising initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in the NGO sector or a deep understanding of non-profit dynamics is highly preferred.
- Ability to lead and oversee a team responsible for executing and managing partnership agreements.
Other Requirements:.
- A demonstrated passion for social impact and commitment to the NGO's mission.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Eastern and Western Regions, including Kolkata.
Reporting:
- This position reports to the Managing Director in Kolkata and oversees a team of 3-4 members.
Compensation:
- Annual CTC: INR 18-24 Lakhs. (The compensation package will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and last salary drawn.
