Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategies to significantly grow the Skills Development segment, leveraging opportunities such as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), and state-specific projects.
- Ensure flawless program delivery, including successful placement of trained individuals in relevant organizations with appropriate compensation levels.
- Continuously scan for new skilling opportunities through RFPs, tenders, and direct engagements.
Program Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of training programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and program objectives.
- Adapt course content based on evolving RFP requirements and industry needs.
- Monitor key performance indicators weekly, ensuring the selection of high-quality training vendors and efficient budget/resource allocation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, training partners, and employers to enhance program effectiveness.
- Lead business development efforts and maintain a robust network of stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines and standards, focusing on quality assurance.
- Prepare regular reports on project performance and outcomes.
- Devote significant attention to facilitating trainee placements, dedicating at least 40% of time to this effort.
Fundraising:
- Identify and pursue fundraising opportunities to support skill development programs, including grants, CSR partnerships, and donor contributions.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations to attract funding and build long-term relationships with donors.
- Collaborate with the communications and partnerships teams to create and implement fundraising campaigns that align with organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Master's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in skill development or related fields.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in government skill development policies and initiatives.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and travel as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaborations and partnerships
