Operational Excellence Lead

HLE Glascoat Ltd. is looking for an Operational Excellence Lead to join our Anand unit.

Role Context: HLE Glascoat Limited is a leading manufacturer of process equipment for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. We are market leaders in Filtration and Drying Equipment and are a leading manufacturer of Glass Lined Equipment globally. We manufacture a wide range of chemical processing equipment in an equally wide range of materials for some of the most demanding applications. We are introducing new products in the market to cater same set of customers. Over the last 40 years, our consistently high quality, and our commitment to solving our customers unique process requirements has helped us build a solid reputation as a preferred supplier of process equipment.

Role Location: Anand, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

• To track progress
• Support PDCA
• Build behaviors and cultures
• Creating organizational standards applicable for Kaizen initiative
• To enable all levels of employees to Solve problems
• Make proactive & planned improvements
• Evaluate benefits achieved , Compare against plan , Calculate ROI
• Communicate - Expectations, Progress & Success stories
• To drive the Continual improvement activity across cross section of an organization
• Promoting Lean/ Kaizen concepts across the organization
• Designing & implementing Reward scheme as a motivation tool
• Follow up audits for 5S, AM & other Workshops
• To develop new Trainers on different Kaizen Concepts
• To maintain Obeya & Kaizen Gallery
• Deploying Lean/ Kaizen concepts in Supply Chain (at Vendors)
• Calculations of Gains from various projects.
• Co-ordinate for Steering committee review meetings
• Reviews between GKW with consultant

• Technical aptitude (knowledge of subjects, overall field, level of English, computer skills)
• Communication / other qualities (autonomy, ability to convince, working in group, analytical skills, degree of understanding, ability to express complex ideas clearly)

Qualifications: BE/ ME

(Note: Must have driven the department independently & efficiently, A thought leader. Preferred with lean Certifications)
