Job Description

Future of work: Mandate 2 - Employees will work remotely through the year and will have a mandatory regrouping once a quarter where they will come down to Bangalore for a quarterly meet-up. In case of extremely critical projects, employees will be requested by the BU head to come down to the office during which employees are expected to oblige.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IP Manager to lead our efforts in culinary sessions, chef tables, large-scale food festivals, and college brand activations. This role will involve overseeing intellectual property rights, event coordination, brand activation strategies, partnership development, profitability, and brand coordination, particularly within the culinary and food festival sectors.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
Event Coordination:
  • Lead the planning and execution of culinary sessions, chef tables, and large-scale food festivals with a focus on delivering exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Manage logistics, vendor relationships, and onsite operations to ensure seamless events.
Brand Activation:
  • Develop and implement brand activation strategies for college campuses and large-scale events, leveraging partnerships with brands like Diageo, Bacardi, Coke and Burger King.
  • Collaborate with Business and Sponsorship teams to create branded solutions, enhance sponsor relationships, and maximize profitability.
Partnership Development:
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with culinary experts, chefs, and food vendors to elevate event quality and participant engagement.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with sponsors and partners to maximize brand coordination and profitability.
Consumer Marketing:
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, digital content, and social media strategies to drive event attendance, brand visibility, and profitability.
Client Servicing:
  • Provide exceptional client service to sponsors, vendors, and partners, ensuring their objectives are met and relationships are strengthened.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead a team responsible for event execution and intellectual property management.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, mentor team members, and facilitate professional growth opportunities.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets for events and brand activations, ensuring financial objectives are achieved while maximizing profitability.
Qualifications:
  • bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (masters degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in intellectual property management, event coordination, and brand activation within the culinary or food festival industry.
  • Strong understanding of IP business and PnL.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in consumer marketing and digital media strategies in Music and Comedy events
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in maximizing profitability through strategic brand coordination and sponsor relationships.
  • Track record of successful budget management and financial oversight in event management contexts
