Windows VM Engineer - Server Administration (5-7 yrs)

Our technology services client is seeking multiple Windows VM Engineer to join their team on a Full Time basis.

Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer VMware vSphere environments, including VM provisioning, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on VMware vSphere.

- Administer Cisco UCS and Cisco HyperFlex hyper-converged infrastructure, managing the hardware layer and ensuring optimal performance.

- Manage and utilize various AWS services, including EC2, IAM, Load Balancing, SSM, CFT, Lambda, S3, EFS, EBS, FSx, Security Groups, and VPCs.

- Administer Windows Servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.

- Develop and utilize automation scripts using Ansible, Python, and PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency.

- Utilize Terraform to manage and provision infrastructure as code.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform is a plus.

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to virtualization, server administration, and cloud services.

- Work effectively with other engineers, system administrators, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the infrastructure.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the infrastructure and related processes.

Mandatory Skills :

- VMware vSphere administration (SME level).

- Cisco UCS/Cisco HyperFlex Server Administration (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure - Hardware layer).

- AWS SysOps experience (EC2, IAM, Load Balancer, SSM, CFT, Lambda, S3, EFS, EBS, FSx, Security Groups, VPC).

Preferred/Optional Skills :

- Windows Server Administration.

- Ansible scripting.

- Python scripting.

- PowerShell scripting.

- Terraform.

- Microsoft Azure cloud experience.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on virtualization and cloud technologies
