Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking, hardware, and Microsoft technologies, ensuring seamless operations, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing IT systems to support business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Networking :
- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and VPN connections.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, and switches to optimize network security and performance.
Hardware Management :
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Perform routine hardware diagnostics, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Manage hardware inventory and procure new equipment as required.
Microsoft Technologies :
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
- Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Ensure timely patch management and updates for Microsoft operating systems and applications.
System Security & Backup :
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including antivirus, firewalls, and data encryption.
- Perform regular data backups and recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
User Support :
- Provide technical support and training to employees on IT systems and software.
- Address and resolve helpdesk tickets promptly and efficiently.
Documentation & Compliance :
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN) and hardware troubleshooting.
- Expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with firewalls, routers, and network security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
