Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Manager to oversee and manage all commercial aspects of our textile business. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of industry knowledge, financial acumen, and strategic insight to ensure smooth operations, profitability, and compliance. This role demands expertise in managing commercial operations, accounts, and customer relations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Operations:

  • Lead and oversee all commercial activities, including procurement, sales contracts, pricing, and negotiations.
  • Evaluate and negotiate vendor and supplier contracts to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency across the business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all business transactions.

Financial Management:

  • Handle the company’s accounts, financial planning, and budgeting to maintain financial health.
  • Oversee cash flow management, accounts receivable/payable, and credit control to optimize liquidity.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to audit requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and supply chain, to align commercial strategies with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide team members to achieve their performance goals and ensure seamless operations.

Customer & Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to build trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Resolve customer complaints and disputes while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:

  • Contribute to business planning and forecasting to drive growth and competitive advantage.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on commercial performance, including sales, revenue, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10–12 years) in commercial roles preferably within the textile industry.
  • Strong knowledge of textile industry operations, supply chain, and market trends.
  • Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and commercial negotiations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
