Job Overview:

Svarn Infratel Pvt Ltd, a leader in the infrastructure and manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Head to lead its Modular Prefabrications and PUF-Based Solutions division. The ideal candidate will have 12 to 15 years of experience in managing large-scale projects across multiple sectors, including defence, railways, pharmaceuticals, data centers, cold storage, and industrial infrastructure.

The Business Head will be responsible for driving business growth, managing project execution, developing strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams. This role requires a deep understanding of modular prefabrications, PUF-based solutions, and industry-specific compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the business strategy for modular prefabrications and PUF-based solutions.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Build a strong business pipeline and drive business growth across multiple sectors.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business risks and opportunities.

2. Project Management and Execution:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of modular prefabrication and PUF-based projects.
  • Ensure timely project delivery within budget and quality standards.
  • Manage project risks, resource allocation, and operational challenges.
  • Implement project management best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

3. Sector-Specific Expertise and Client Engagement:

  • Develop and manage projects across sectors such as:
    Defence – Prefabricated structures, barracks, and command centers
    Railways – Station infrastructure, passenger waiting areas, and storage facilities
    Pharmaceutical – GMP-compliant clean rooms, labs, and cold storage facilities
    Data Centers – Modular data centers with controlled environments
    Industrial Infrastructure – Manufacturing units, warehouses, and storage facilities
    Cold Storage – PUF-based storage for food, chemicals, and medical products
  • Engage with key stakeholders and clients to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with government agencies and private sector clients.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performance team of project managers, engineers, and sales professionals.
  • Provide training and mentorship to improve team performance and expertise.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

5. Business Development and Sales:

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for modular prefabrications and PUF-based products.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to generate leads and secure contracts.
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and repeat business.
  • Develop pricing strategies to improve profitability and market positioning.

6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all projects meet industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with defence, railway, and pharmaceutical industry guidelines.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor customer feedback and continuously improve product performance.

Key Skills and Competencies:

✔ Strong expertise in modular prefabrications and PUF-based solutions
✔ Experience in handling projects across multiple sectors (defence, railways, pharma, data centers, industrial, and cold storage)
✔ Strong business development and sales leadership skills
✔ Excellent project management and operational efficiency expertise
✔ Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
✔ Strong financial acumen and P&L management
✔ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
✔ Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration from a recognized institution.

Preferred Experience:

  • 12 to 15 years of experience in managing large-scale modular prefabrication and PUF-based projects
  • Experience in handling projects in sectors like defence, railways, pharmaceuticals, industrial infrastructure, and data centers
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, and P&L management
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operations
