Role & responsibilities (994)
- Engine/Transmission Process & Layout, Facility Planning
- Preparation of Engine/Transmission assembly process documentation
- Equipment procurement/modification, installation & commissioning.
- Assembly tools, jigs & fixtures design & procurement
- Planning & implementation of error-proofing systems
- Co-ordination with multiple internal teams & external suppliers for timely execution of projects.
- Execution of new model trials
Preferred candidate profile
- Hands-on experience of various assembly processes Torquing, Press-fitting, Cold testing process including Leak test & Vision-based inspection.
- Basic knowledge of automation (PLCs, RFIDs, etc.)
- Assembly drawing reading & interpretation
- Knowledge of PFMEA
- Knowledge of QC tools.
- Experience in ISO9001 documentation
Computer skills MS Office, AutoCAD (must have); UG-NX (desirable)
