Associate Manager - Cost Accounting

About Us: Sutherland is a lead in Digital business services and is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our client. We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Cost Accounting Lead to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the cost accounting functions within manufacturing sector.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Provide detailed cost analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline cost accounting processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior cost accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Must be a qualified Cost Accountant (CMA/ICWA).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost accounting.
• At least 05 07 years of experience in costing within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in cost accounting modules and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems like Oracle/ SAP
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
