Job Description :

In this role, you will get to :

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth code integration and delivery.

- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK stack.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

- Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment strategies and resolve environment specific issues.

- Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud and on-premise environments.

- Ensure backups, disaster recovery, and failover processes are in place and tested.

- Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational processes.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications :

Successful candidates will have :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls).

- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Nagios, or Datadog.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (e., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKAD/CKA).

- Familiarity with serverless architecture and tools.

- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.

- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.

- Exposure to security frameworks and practices (e., IAM, firewalls, encryption).
