Store Keeper In charge/warehouse manager

Store Keeper / Warehouse Manager in Charge for Congo, Africa Company

We are looking for a young, mature, responsible, motivated, enthusiastic, honest, and energetic storekeeper with computer experience.

This role requires an active, proactive, and motivated individual willing to relocate to DR Congo, Africa, for a minimum two-year contract. The ideal candidate must have experience as a storekeeper or warehouse manager in a similar role. Proficiency in English is mandatory

Work Location: The candidate will be working from DRC, Congo Africa. The work visa, tickets and accommodation will be provided by company only.

Role & responsibilities:

1. Maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing the receipt and storage of goods, and ensuring materials are available when needed.
2. Receiving and inspecting incoming goods to ensure they conform to purchase orders or specifications.
3. Tracking stock levels, documenting stock movements, and conducting regular physical inventory counts.
4. Keeping the warehouse or storeroom clean, organized, and safe, ensuring all materials are stored accessibly.
5. Organizing deliveries, preparing delivery notes, and managing dispatches.
6. Ensuring timely return of materials after job work is completed

Preferred candidate profile:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Email, etc.).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

1. A commitment to a minimum two-year term contract in DR Congo.
2. Salary: Dependent on experience.
3. Accommodation: Shared housing in a large-sized house with TV, a servant, and a cook. Transport to work and security will also be provided.
4. Knowledge of French is recommended but not mandatory.
5. Flexibility to adapt to Congo's culture and atmosphere, which may differ significantly from India.
6. Age: Between 22 and 40 years.
7. Must be a non-drinker or light drinker.
8. Should be physically fit, active, and free from health issues.
9. Leadership qualities: Ability to multitask, manage a team, and exhibit strong negotiation skills.
