Store In Charge

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse & Store Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the store & warehouse.

• Ensure products are stored in an organized and safe manner.

• Implement and monitor inventory management practices to minimize stock discrepancies.

• Manage stock receipts, storage, and dispatch activities efficiently.

2. Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.

• Perform regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Forecast inventory requirements to ensure adequate stock levels.

• Implement inventory control procedures to reduce stock loss and wastage.

3. Dispatch Operations:

• Plan and coordinate product dispatch schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

• Liaise with logistics providers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery processes.

• Monitor dispatch operations to ensure quality and accuracy in order fulfilment.

4. Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing training and guidance where necessary.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols in the warehouse and dispatch areas.

• Monitor employee performance and foster a positive work environment.

5. Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse, store, and dispatch operations.

• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, dispatch operations, and warehouse performance.

• Ensure proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing inventory.

• Collaborate with procurement and sales & purchase teams to communicate stock availability and order fulfilment.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in store and dispatch management, with a strong background in inventory control.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for inventory reporting.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in warehouse environments.

• Knowledge of logistics and transportation management.
