Job Description:

Quality Management System (QMS):

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS, identifying areas for improvement and driving corrective actions.

• Ensure the organization maintains relevant quality certifications and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 9001).

• Lead internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality standards.

Quality Assurance & Control:

• Oversee the inspection, testing, and monitoring of raw material & Finished goods and processes to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and work with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Analyse quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

• Establish and enforce quality control procedures and work instructions.

Team Leadership & Training:

• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing training and guidance on best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, Purchase, etc.) to ensure quality objectives are met.

• Conduct regular training sessions to raise awareness of quality standards and QMS requirements across the organization.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance quality and operational efficiency.

• Foster a culture of quality by promoting proactive problem-solving and process optimization.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality-related documentation, including procedures, audits, and non-conformances.

• Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management, providing insights on product quality, process performance, and compliance issues.

• Ensure all quality documentation is properly stored and easily accessible.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma / bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. (Diploma 8-10 years / B tech 5-8 Years of experience)

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role, preferably within Automotive industry.

• In-depth knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001, and other relevant industry standards.

• Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and root cause analysis.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools.

• Experience with conducting internal and external audits.
