QC Engineer

• QMS implementation
• Preparation and implementation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for the smooth implementation of Quality Management System as per Design, Build and Operate Contract requirements.
• Review of Design and Specification of work for the project and keep tracking of changes as per site constraint and inspection on field to check implementation of design and specification
• Ensuring proper documentation being maintained by subordinates, by giving new ideas for improvement
• Creating awareness for continuous enhancement at site.
• Development of training modules and training material / literature and effective training to respective site staff, contractor and workmen for more improvement and to achieve project quality standards.
• Adequate knowledge about testing of all construction materials as per specifications and respective codes, introduction of new materials for quality enhancement at site
• Continuous Enhancement of 3E (Efficient, Elegant and Economical) by maintaining and improving product quality
• Coordinate with relevant departments/cells, contractor & sub-contractor and attending review meeting on Quality matters
• Establishment and maintaining laboratory on site for incoming construction material testing as per standards and project specification
• Inspection
• Inspection and testing at vendors end at pre approval stage for ensuring compliance as per requirement
• Inspection of critical elements and major pours with structural points
• Performing audits of contractors for ensuring of proper documentation and proper materials/machineries used at site
• Randomly checking and verify all RCC, structural steel & finishing activities i.e. block work, plastering, flooring, false ceiling, gypsum, doors and water proofing etc. as per applicable codes, drawings and standards
• Raising NCR's to contractors for non-conformity highlighted by team or observed at site.
• Coming up with root cause, corrective and preventive actions of non-conformity for betterment of quality and structural integrity
• Creating awareness internally and with contractors to avoid non-conformities and continuous improvement at site
• Monitor quality trends including supervision of interior inspection surveillance personnel and assist Construction Heads in the areas of quality
• Excellent communication skills with troubleshooting, problem defining & solving capabilities and technical issues
• Effective team leader, trainer and motivator with fine-tuned analytic, coordination and troubleshooting skills

4-5 years of experience working with Construction companies.

Qualification- BE/B.Tech
