Facility Manager

• Directing housekeeping/facilities/admin staff on day-to-day basis and ensuring compliance to safety & security regulations
• Assuring maximum guest/customer satisfaction by closely interacting with them and resolving their queries on priority
• Implementing hospitals program for quality improvement and managed patient safety & activities needed to have an effective program of continuous quality improvement and patient safety within the hospital
• Managing selection & establishment of locations for new hospitals, including the areas of specialization, technology and recruitment; providing counseling to Staff/Patients as and when situation arises
• Steering all aspects from scratch to fully-developed hospital i.e. cost control to purchase of medicines / instruments, planning, recruitment and liaison with various other departments & outside agencies including other hospitals
• Performing regular inventory and checking of asset, linen, uniform, equipment in the workplace.

Preparing:

Duty rosters and supervising the discipline and conduct of the staff

Rooms for occupancy with speed and accuracy; assisting in keeping the rooms clean and orderly

• Devising & formulating methods on usage of cleaning supplies; establishing cleaning schedules for rooms and public areas
• Inspecting the floors/public areas to ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of facilities, equipment & amenities
• Supervisors are responsible for inspecting buildings to identify maintenance issues, such as clogged drains, leaky ceilings and faulty electrical switches.
• Responsible for the regular inspection of facilities for repair and maintenance purposes, the planning of work required, and estimates of material costs and man hours required.
• Supervising the daily Patient care and cleaning of assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridor areas and public areas are maintained.
• Immediately reporting and documenting to HOD any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures
