Manager Demand Planning

Role & responsibilities

• Track all the latest trends in the Consumer Electronics Market, and assess impact on Cromas business
• Track performance of consumer electronics industry and key competitors
• Understand key underlying drivers of demand of consumer electronics and track the movement of the same
• Provide inputs to senior management on emerging market opportunities that Croma can leverage
• Prepare forecasting models based on historical performance, market trends etc. to predict the demand for products retailed by Croma
• Help consolidate rolling weekly/ monthly/ quarterly sales & margin targets and plans, basis inputs from respective functions
• Coordinate with stakeholders within the planning function and other business teams & functions for prepare the sales plans
• Help define targets for levers such as pricing, discounts, incentives in order to ensure plan achievement
• Use the planning exercise to identify key risks to the budget and overall business goals of Croma

Preferred candidate profile:

• Strong analytical skills ability to create financial models, handle large volumes of data
• Comfort in using Microsoft Excel, and willingness to learn and use new-age tools
• Program management skills with the ability to quickly identify risks and independently take necessary actions to mitigate the same
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to understand the big-picture and business nuances
• Experience handling and guiding junior resources
