Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Work with Operations teams and coordinate on risk requirements/formalities
• Responsible for checking the division s and business adherence to the requirements of the Operational Risk framework
• Execution of methodologies to identify and mitigate risk arising from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures and processes
• Assistance in drafting incident reports, corrective action plans and capturing operational losses / event management
• Up to date maintenance of various risk trackers
• Coordination with Operations teams on CSOX and EUCs and maintenance of trackers
• Conduct recurring risk assessments, internal control reviews, self-assessments, internal audits, scenario analysis and operational quality assurance
• Stay aware of industry news and regulatory developments to facilitate a more proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
• Participate in executing the department s BCP program
• Assist in production of business intelligence and analytics with relevant metrics and reporting

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in Investment bank or similar industry
• Knowledge of securities industry/Brokerage/Trading is essential
• Proven quantitative and analytical skills
• Possess good knowledge of products specifically in the financial services industry
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Relationship management skills
• Lean / Six Sigma certifications /Capital Markets certifications will be extra advantage
