Job Description

Location: Kolkata

Experience: 4-6 years in IT Recruitment with a strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BCA, M.Tech (Computer Science)/MCA (optional), MBA in HR (Preferred).


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Recruiter (Talent Acquisition Specialist) to join Sundew. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, attracting, and securing top IT talent to support our organizations continued growth. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to design and implement strategic recruitment initiatives that align with business objectives.

Beyond recruitment, you will contribute significantly to talent management and workforce planning, ensuring that Sundew is well-equipped with the right talent to meet both current and future organizational needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition & Strategy

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical and business requirements, translating them into compelling job descriptions.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality IT talent.
  • Utilize a diverse range of hiring channels, including job boards, company career pages, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical IT roles, ensuring proactive hiring to meet future business needs.

Sourcing & Candidate Engagement

  • Proactively identify, source, and engage top-tier candidates across multiple platforms.
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Facilitate a structured and streamlined recruitment process, ensuring efficiency and a high-quality candidate experience.

Workforce Planning & Talent Management

  • Collaborate with leadership and HR teams to anticipate workforce needs and develop strategic hiring plans.
  • Maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical IT roles to ensure business continuity and agility.
  • Stay informed about IT industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize recruitment strategies and ensure alignment with company goals.

Candidate Experience & Relationship Building

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential candidates to foster a positive employer brand.
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback.
  • Advocate for a structured, transparent, and fair hiring process, enhancing the companys reputation as an employer of choice.

Required Skillsets:


  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline workflows, maintain organized records, and analyse hiring metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effectively engaging with candidates and stakeholders. Ability to deliver constructive feedback throughout the hiring process.
  • Competency-Based Hiring: Expertise in Attitude, Skills, and Knowledge (A.S.K.) based hiring methodologies.
  • Technology & Automation: Knowledge of Excel Automation and AI-driven recruitment tools to enhance hiring efficiency.
  • Multi-Tasking & Decision-Making: Strong ability to manage multiple hiring processes in a fast-paced environment. Adept at negotiation, problem-solving, and making quick yet informed decisions.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Ability to work cross-functionally with hiring managers, department heads, and HR teams to ensure seamless recruitment execution.
