Designation Manager International Logistics & Operations
Job Description:
- The incumbent will be responsible for Global Supply Chain Management, Treasury and Compliance across Europe/US/ROW region.
Commodities: Sugar/Soya/Coconut/Sesame/Chia/Spices/Vanilla/Cocoa, Cotton/Animal Feed and any other products Traded Globally by Group companies.
Job Description
- Work closely with each Segment PNL heads & Sales to meet Revenue Targets from International entities and minimizing the Operations cost.
- Manage and set KPI for Intl Logistics Team with clear deliverables to meet the Group business goals.
- Follow up with Origin/Suppliers for Shipment documents.
- Co-ordination with various inter department for shipment related activities Logistics, Quality, Certification & Accounts.
- Creating purchase order & sales order for Material and Services through SAP
- Preparing Export & Import Documents from International Entities.
- File shipment documents in time with Bank.
- Forecast & Planning import of FG/RM at 3rd party warehouse level
- Managing Batch wise inventory at 3rd party warehouse level.
- Managing Ex-warehouse distribution in EU/US& ROW as per SO
- Arrange Ex-warehouse sampling /repacking/transportation
- Maintain MIS for Freight, Warehouse & Distribution costs in Intl Entities
- Manage 3rd party Vendors with clear SLA and Accounts Record
- MIS - Prepare detailed report at Global level for shipment. Inventory Report, In/Out bound report.
- Coordination between Customer, 3rd party warehouses, 3rd party transport service providers.
- Strong Negotiation with 3rd party Transport & S/line for freight
- Audit- for Organic & Fair Trade Certifications through Skal, Ecocert, Oncecert, Flocert(FTO) and Food authority for compliance.
Desired Profile:
- MBA in SCM with min 10 years hard core experience in handling offshore supply chain and distribution with focus on Inventory management and 3rd party Vendor management, Cost Optimization,
- Experience of working in SAP environment must with complete knowledge of Export and Imports
- Preferably Food distribution background in US/ EU
-Experience Minimum 5 years relevant experience in overseas food or commodities distribution
Education - Preferably MBA in SCM /Intl Trade
