About:
Founded in 2021, Sugarfit provides a "Personalised evidence-based path to Type 2 and Pre-Diabetes Reversal & management". Sugarfit leverages a precision health platform combining CGM sensors, Machine Learning, and Medical Science to improve human metabolic health and reverse chronic disease through precision nutrition, progressive fitness and behavioural health advice. As the Business Head, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving the overall business strategy, revenue growth, and operational excellence. You will oversee cross-functional teams, spearhead market expansion, and ensure profitability by setting clear business objectives. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver measurable outcomes across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Growth
a. Develop and implement long-term business strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
b. Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives to drive business expansion.
c. Set clear KPIs and monitor performance metrics to ensure alignment with business goals.
2. Operational Leadership
a. Oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all functions.
b. Optimize resource allocation and drive cost-efficiency across departments.
c. Implement processes that foster productivity, scalability, and operational excellence.
3. Revenue Management
a. Own the P&L and be accountable for financial growth, forecasting, and budget management.
b. Develop strategies to drive sales, increase market share, and optimize pricing models.
c. Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure revenue targets are met.
4. Team Leadership
a. Lead, inspire, and mentor cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance culture.
b. Attract, develop, and retain top talent across all key business areas.
c. Build a collaborative work environment that promotes innovation and accountability.
Qualifications:
1. 8+ years of leadership experience in business management or strategy, preferably in tech or high-growth sectors.
2. Proven track record of scaling businesses and driving revenue growth.
3. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience managing P&L.
4. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive results across large teams.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
