Job Overview:

The Sales Head - Nepal will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Sugams logistics services, including Full Truckload (FTL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), and multimodal transportation options (air, sea, rail) within and from Nepal. The ideal candidate will spearhead strategy implementation, lead market expansion efforts, ma

nage key customer relationships, and guide a large team toward achieving business targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics industry, particularly in multimodal transportation and international freight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the achievement of budgeted sales and collection targets through business associates and direct clients. Manage sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  • Spearhead the expansion of Sugam’s services in Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) transportation within and from Nepal, including multimodal transportation (air, sea, rail) initiatives.
  • Create and implement effective strategies tailored to the unique needs of the Nepalese market and international trade routes.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current trends in the logistics industry and monitor competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement. Explore new customer segments and expand the customer base in both domestic and international markets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a large team to meet and exceed set business targets. Provide training and development opportunities to nurture talent within the team.
  • Establish robust mechanisms for tracking performance and sales metrics to guide business decisions and strategies.
  • Forge strategic partnerships and networks to bolster Sugam’s presence and capabilities in the logistics sector, particularly in multimodal transportation.
  • Create & execute a sales organization structure with enhance the CRM, NMD, KAM (industry segment wise & major client wise) sub functions within the sales teams
  • Analyze Sales MIS of all sales team members across the country & develop & execute strategies to improve numbers as per company goals

Job Specifications:

  • At least 15 years in logistics or a closely related industry, with a focus on sales and business development.
  • Strong background in FTL, LTL, and multimodal transportation management, including air and sea freight logistics.
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire a large team, driving them towards achieving business goals.
  • Proficient in analyzing market data and capable of strategic planning and execution based on comprehensive market insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in negotiating and managing high-level client relationships.
  • Capable of adapting strategies to rapidly changing global and local market conditions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively both within Nepal and internationally.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
