Role & responsibilities

• Lead and Coordinate Activities: Plan and lead a variety of recreational activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, fitness classes, and themed events for guests of all ages.
• Guest Interaction: Provide a fun, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Assist them in choosing activities that suit their interests and ensure they have an enjoyable experience.
• Safety First: Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner, following safety protocols and resort guidelines. Monitor participants for any signs of discomfort or distress.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to prepare, set up, and facilitate activities and events.
• Event Planning and Setup: Assist with organizing and setting up for special events or themed activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to plan.
• Customer Service: Handle any guest inquiries or concerns regarding activities in a professional and friendly manner. Strive to exceed guest expectations and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain Activity Equipment: Ensure that all equipment used for activities is well-maintained and in good condition.
• Assist in Promotions: Promote resort activities to guests and encourage participation in daily programs or special events.
• Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from guests regarding activities to help improve the offerings and guest experience.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: Previous experience in recreation, hospitality, or customer service is preferred. Experience with organizing and leading activities for groups or children is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic and outgoing personality with a passion for working with people.
• Ability to multitask and manage several activities at once.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to participate in and lead physical activities, with the stamina to stay active throughout the day.
• Flexibility: Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
