Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Media Executive to be a part of the BigMint Media Channel. The candidate will be responsible for the entire content lifecycle, from ideation to production.
Content Ideation & Strategy:
- Leverage your extensive business news knowledge to generate innovative and data-driven content ideas across various segments.
- Stay updated on current market trends and identify topics relevant to our audience.
- Conduct audience research to understand content preferences and engagement patterns.
Content Acquisition & Collaboration:
- Utilize your TV/News Media background to develop and maintain strong relationships with industry experts for potential interviews.
- Liaise with the Research and Operations teams to source stories and data for content creation.
- Manage external content creators and freelancers (if applicable).
Content Pipeline Management:
- Establish a consistent pipeline of content ideas for each segment of the channel.
- Prioritize content based on relevance, audience interest, and production feasibility.
- Ensure a steady flow of content to meet channel publishing goals.
Scriptwriting & Storyboarding:
- Craft compelling scripts that effectively translate complex insights into clear and engaging narratives.
- Collaborate with delivery personnel and videographers to develop storyboards.
- Ensure scripts align with content strategy and target audience.
Production Guidance:
- Provide clear direction and guidance to the production team on various aspects of video shoots, drawing from your TV/News Media experience.
- Oversee pre-production planning, including logistics, scheduling, and equipment needs.
- Offer creative input during production and post-production stages.
Quality Control & Delivery:
- Maintain high editorial standards for all content produced for the channel.
- Manage the review and approval process for scripts, visuals, and final video edits.
- Ensure timely delivery of content according to the publishing schedule
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in content production, program management, or a related field, with a strong focus on business news.
- Proven track record of creating engaging and informative content for a business audience in a TV or news media environment.
- Deep understanding of current trends and best practices in video storytelling and online content marketing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Scriptwriting and storyboarding experience are a plus.
- Familiarity with video production processes and basic knowledge of video editing software is preferred.
- A passion for business news and a keen interest in data-driven storytelling
