Job Description : JIRA Administrator - Ongoing Support & Implementation Project
Position : JIRA Administrator
Location : Hyderabad Only

Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled JIRA Administrator to join our team for an ongoing support and implementation project.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing JIRA software and related Atlassian tools.
The role involves ensuring the platform is tailored to meet project and organizational requirements while providing support for end-users and implementing enhancements to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure and manage JIRA instances, including workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and notification schemes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve JIRA-related issues for end-users and teams.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal availability and performance of JIRA tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions using JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
- Implement new workflows, integrations, and customizations to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like ScriptRunner, Power Scripts, or similar.
- Integrate JIRA with other tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Slack, and other enterprise applications.
- Perform data migrations and imports/exports as needed.
- Ensure data integrity and adherence to governance standards.
- Provide training and support to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize JIRA tools.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows, and processes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improving JIRA processes and workflows.
- Stay updated on the latest Atlassian product updates and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience as a JIRA Administrator.
- Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflows, permissions, custom fields, and issue types.
- Experience with JIRA Service Management and Confluence is a plus.
- Familiarity with JIRA add-ons like ScriptRunner, Tempo, and Automation for JIRA.
- Strong knowledge of integrations with tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Slack.
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g, Python, Groovy, or Shell scripting) is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator (ACP-100 or ACP-600).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
