Confluence Administrator - Configuration Management (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups.

- Configure and customize Confluence settings, including global settings, space settings, and themes.

- Install, configure, and manage Confluence add-ons and integrations.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.

- Manage Confluence licenses and renewals.

- Create and manage spaces, ensuring proper organization and structure.

- Assist users in creating and organizing content within spaces.

- Implement space templates and best practices.

- Archive or delete inactive spaces as needed.

- Provide technical support to Confluence users, answering questions and resolving issues.

- Develop and deliver training materials and workshops on Confluence usage.

- Create and maintain documentation for Confluence best practices and guidelines.

- Work closely with teams and departments to understand their collaboration needs.

- Communicate effectively with users regarding Confluence updates, maintenance, and best practices.

- Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure seamless integration with other systems.

- Identify opportunities to improve Confluence usage and efficiency.

- Research and evaluate new Confluence features and add-ons.

- Contribute to the development of Confluence governance policies and procedures.

- Plan and execute Confluence migrations and upgrades.

- Test and validate Confluence functionality after upgrades.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience as a Confluence Administrator.

- Strong understanding of Confluence functionalities and best practices.

- Experience with user management, space administration, and add-on management.

- Familiarity with Atlassian products and ecosystem (Jira, Bitbucket).

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript) for Confluence automation.

- Experience with Confluence API and integrations.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

- Atlassian certifications.

- Experience with other collaboration tools
