Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ArcSight SME with deep expertise in developing, configuring, and troubleshooting SmartConnectors and FlexConnectors for various log formats, including Regex, DB Log File, JSON, Web Services, and Syslog.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SIEM architecture, log management, parsing logic, and security event correlation to support enterprise security operations.

ArcSight JD.

- 5+ years working within the information and cyber security field.

- Experience in deploying and integrating Micro Focus ArcSight suite of products.

- ESM.

- Transformation Hub.

- Smart Connector/ Flex Connector.

- Experience in Creating New Flex Connector - Regex/ DB Log File/ JSON / Web Services/ Syslog.

- Prioritization / Categorization.

- Experience in Report / Dashboard and Network Modelling.

- Troubleshooting Smart / Flex communication.

- Unix / Linux OS's (SLES, RHEL- etc.)

- Strong scripting skills Perl, shell, python etc.

- Experience with database installation and configuration.

- Security Knowledge & Experience.

- SIEM Concepts.

- Identity and access management principles.

- Networking: Understanding of Firewall technologies, Routing, Switching, VPN & VLAN and Understanding of TCP/IP, SSL, TLS, HTTPS, DNS, SMTP & ipSec.

- Security Technologies: IDS/IPS, Penetration / Vulnerability/DLP & anti Malware.

- Professional certifications may include CEH, CISSP, CISM SANS GCIA (preferred).

Required Non-technical skills :

- In depth trouble shooting skills.

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

- Experience in working with other members from remote locations.

- Time flexibility for meetings that may be conducted outside local business hours.
