• Good Knowledge of Bulk Cooking and Mess Routine Operations
• Inventory & Consumption Management
• Staff Handling
• Menu Planning & Food Quality Control
• Record Keeping and Reporting
• Basic IT Knowledge.
• Manage canteen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff handling.
• Conduct physical verification of stocks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee catering services provided by the institution or contracted vendors.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain high-quality meal preparation.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-20 years of experience in canteen/cafeteria management or related field.
  
• Strong knowledge of canteen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff handling.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and external vendors.
  
• Ability to conduct thorough physical verification of stocks and maintain accurate records.
