Job Title: VED-Product Marketer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 5+ years overall, 3+ years in Product Marketing (SAAS industry preferred)
Market Focus: U.S. Market
Qualifications & Experience: Graduate or Postgraduate
- Hands-on experience with SAAS business model, including subscription economics and customer lifetime value
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience in using data insights from usage metrics, customer feedback, and market research to guide strategy
- Proven ability to develop positioning, go-to-market strategies, and execute plans effectively
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Experience with marketing analytics and CRM tools
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Understanding of how product marketing decisions impact overall business goals
- Self-awareness and ability to receive feedback
- Results-driven mindset with persistence in achieving goals
- Demonstrated ability in resource allocation and prioritization
- Experience in the real estate industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (preferred)
- Project management certification (preferred)
- Public speaking and presentation skills (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the U.S. real estate market, product relevance, and key target personas within the first two months
- Assess current marketing budget or create a new budget within the first two months
- Lead product positioning and messaging across all customer touchpoints
- Build close relationships with product, sales, and customer success teams
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Guide pricing strategy and packaging decisions
- Oversee product launches and marketing campaigns
- Enable sales team with training and resources
- Analyze customer feedback and usage data to inform strategy
- Conduct customer feedback analysis to measure sentiment, pain points, and feature requests
- Track website traffic, content performance, and social media engagement
- Conduct competitive win/loss analysis and regular competitor analysis (monthly)
- Drive team development through one-on-one meetings and career planning
Key Deliverables & KPIs:
- Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) tracked weekly (Main KPI)
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) for new features/products (Main KPI)
- First 30 to 45 days: Submit a report on U.S. real estate market analysis, including target personas, competitor analysis, market landscape, and pricing recommendations
- First 60 to 90 days: Deliver a product marketing strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Develop customer personas and journey maps
- Create compelling product narratives and value propositions
- Prepare sales enablement materials (battle cards, playbooks, pitch decks)
- Plan and execute product launch strategies and campaign briefs
- Design a content strategy for thought leadership and demand generation
- Track product marketing KPIs through a monthly metrics dashboar
- Develop and revise marketing budget within the first 30 to 60 days
