Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head - Corporate Communications to lead the internal and external communication initiatives for the group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance the company's brand image, manage media relations, and drive stakeholder engagement. This leadership role requires a dynamic professional with expertise in public relations, media management, content development, and corporate messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Communication Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communication strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Drive brand positioning, reputation management, and corporate identity initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in corporate messaging across all platforms and stakeholders.
2. Internal Communications:
- Lead internal communication efforts to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
- Develop communication materials such as newsletters, emails, intranet content, and internal announcements.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to drive organizational communication initiatives.
3. External Communications & Public Relations:
- Manage and build relationships with media houses, journalists, and PR agencies.
- Handle press releases, media interactions, and crisis communication.
- Monitor industry trends and ensure proactive media engagement.
4. Digital & Content Management:
- Oversee content strategy for corporate websites, blogs, and social media channels.
- Develop high-quality content for corporate presentations, speeches, and thought leadership articles.
- Ensure a strong digital presence to enhance brand reputation and visibility.
5. Stakeholder & Crisis Communication:
- Act as the key spokesperson for the company.
- Develop crisis communication plans and handle media responses in sensitive situations.
- Engage with key stakeholders including investors, government bodies, and industry associations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in corporate communications.
- Strong media relations and networking skills with leading publications and journalists.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in crisis management and reputation building.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
