Job Description : SAP FICO Functional Consultant
Work Location : Navi Mumbai
Key Responsibilities :
1. Requirement Analysis and Solution Design : Engage with financial stakeholders and IT teams to capture and analyze requirements, translating these into effective SAP FICO solutions that are aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
2. SAP FICO Configuration : Expert configuration of the SAP FICO module, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
3. Integration Solutions : Design and execute integration strategies for SAP FICO with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD, PP) and external systems, utilizing SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), or similar technologies to ensure a cohesive and efficient ERP ecosystem.
4. Data Architecture Design : Develop and maintain a strategic data architecture within the SAP FICO domain, focusing on data accuracy, governance, and compliance, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
5. Testing and Continuous Improvement : Lead thorough testing of SAP FICO configurations and integration points, driving continuous improvement initiatives to refine functionality, enhance user experience, and optimize financial processes.
6. Training and Support : Deliver comprehensive training sessions and support to end-users, ensuring proficient use of SAP FICO functionalities. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, integration designs, and data management protocols.
7. Project Management : Effectively manage SAP FICO projects, overseeing all phases from conception through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope parameters.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 5 to 10 years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, with demonstrated success in SAP FICO implementations, integration, and data architecture design.
3. Profound knowledge of SAP FICO module configuration, financial operations, and reporting requirements.
4. Strong expertise in SAP integration tools (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI) and best practices.
5. Solid understanding of data architecture principles within an SAP environment, focusing on financial data governance, quality, and compliance.
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with IT teams and business stakeholders.
8. SAP FICO certification is highly preferred; additional certifications in SAP integration or data management are advantageous.
