Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
Level 1 and Level 2 Support :
- Provide comprehensive Level 1 and Level 2 support for business users facing issues in the SAP SD module.
- Address open tickets and issues related to SAP SD, Warehouse Management (WM), and Quality Management (QM) modules.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve any SAP SD-related issues in BorgWarner's SAP systems.
System Analysis and Solution Design :
- Analyze existing issues and deficiencies in current SAP SD systems and provide solutions to rectify them.
- Perform new developments and implement solutions based on business requirements.
- Migrate these changes to subsequent Quality and Production environments.
Collaboration with L3 Team :
- Work closely with the L3 support team to understand the global template and propose relevant solutions.
- Coordinate with other SAP modules like PP, FICO, and MM to provide support and ensure smooth integration across the modules.
Requirements Elicitation and Documentation :
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and site visits to gather and elicit functional requirements from business users.
- Create Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and Use Cases to communicate requirements effectively.
- Analyze and document business processes, tasks, and workflows, ensuring that technical solutions align with user needs.
End-User Training and Support :
- Provide training and documentation to end-users to ensure the proper usage of the system and that it meets business requirements.
- Test and document system enhancements, ensuring alignment with user requirements and proper functionality.
Functional Specifications and Technical Documentation :
- Prepare functional specifications, diagrams, and coding logic for new developments or system enhancements.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to ensure technical feasibility and assess trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
Integration and Cross-Module Support :
- Support SAP integration between modules, especially SAP SD, MM, PP, and FICO.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams to manage integrations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver seamless processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience working with SAP SD module.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD, SAP Warehouse Management (WM), and SAP Quality Management (QM) modules.
- Ability to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP systems.
- In-depth experience in requirement analysis, documentation, and business process modeling.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams.
- Experience in conducting end-user training and providing documentation for new system enhancements.
- Ability to create and work with functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with PP, FICO, and MM modules.
- Experience with testing and ensuring the quality of SAP configurations.
Desirable Skills :
- SAP certifications in SD, WM, or QM modules.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize based on urgency and business impact.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PP, or related SAP modules.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in SAP SD in a functional consultant role.
- Prior experience in SAP support roles, specifically in Level 1 and Level 2 support
