SAP FICO Consultant - E2E Implementation (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

System Configuration & Implementation :

- Configure and implement the SAP FI and CO modules based on business requirements.

- Define and maintain configurations for Company Codes, Chart of Accounts, Fiscal Year Variants, and other financial structures.

- Set up internal orders, cost centers, profit centers, and other CO elements.

- Ensure integration of FICO modules with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.

Requirement Gathering & Analysis :

- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and controlling departments to gather and document business requirements.

- Analyze existing business processes and propose optimized solutions using SAP FICO.

- Translate business needs into SAP solutions while ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure proper functionality of the SAP FICO system.

- Work with business users to validate system outputs and ensure the solution meets business expectations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during the testing phase.

End-User Training & Support :

- Develop training materials and user guides for SAP FICO users.

- Provide training to end-users on SAP FICO functionality and best practices.

- Offer ongoing support to users, troubleshoot system issues, and provide solutions as necessary.

Financial Reporting & Analysis :

- Configure SAP FICO to generate various financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cost center reports.

- Assist with financial reporting and analysis, providing insights into cost control, budget management, and profitability.

- Implement financial reporting solutions to meet the needs of business stakeholders.

Data Migration and Integration :

- Oversee data migration activities during SAP implementation or upgrades, ensuring accurate and timely data transfer.

- Ensure proper integration of SAP FICO with third-party applications and external financial systems.

System Enhancements & Optimization :

- Evaluate business processes and recommend SAP FICO enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations within SAP.

- Monitor system performance and suggest optimizations to streamline financial workflows.

Compliance & Regulatory Standards :

- Ensure that the SAP FICO system complies with global financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing standards.

- Keep the system updated with any regulatory changes that impact the financial domain.

Project Management & Coordination :

- Participate in SAP FICO implementation projects, ensuring project milestones are met within deadlines.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, and Business Analysts) to ensure alignment with project objectives.

- Assist in change management activities, managing any system upgrades or changes effectively.
