Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

- 5-7 years of relevant experience.

- Good understanding and hands on experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices.

- Working experience in developing web services using HTTP REST/JSON.

- Object-oriented and service-oriented design concepts, including knowledge of data transfer objects and associated design patterns.

- Hands on in core Java, Micro-services, PostgreSQL, Oracle.

- Exposure to Kubernetes and AWS/Azure is a plus.

- Understands agile methodologies and have used tools such as JIRA, GitHub. Experience in UAT support and L3 production support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Develop and integrate web services using HTTP REST/JSON to support a range of internal and external applications.

- Implement object-oriented and service-oriented design concepts, including designing data transfer objects (DTOs) and utilizing associated design patterns.

- Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases to design and optimize data models, implement queries, and ensure efficient data retrieval.

- Implement and deploy microservices on Kubernetes and/or cloud platforms like AWS/Azure (exposure to Kubernetes and cloud technologies is a plus).

- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Contribute to agile development processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Ensure high availability and performance of applications by maintaining and optimizing production environments.

- Provide L3 production support and assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to production environments.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the system meets business requirements.

- Utilize tools like JIRA and GitHub for task tracking, version control, and collaboration.
