Java Backend Engineer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture (5-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and robust backend systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.

- Work with SQL databases and implement data access layer.

- Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.

- Implement and consume large-scale web services.

- Leverage cloud-based services (e.g, AWS) for deployment and scaling.

- Collaborate with international teams across the US and Europe.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues.

- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience in Java J2EE development.

- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with REST API development and RESTful web services.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.

- Experience with cloud-based services (e.g, AWS) is a plus.
